Term 1 Week 1 2025
Welbourn Tumuaki Bonnie Mills
Welcome back to Welbourn School for 2025.
I hope you enjoyed the long summer days and created some amazing memories with your whānau and friends.
I am excited to introduce myself as the new Principal of Welbourn School. My name is Bonnie Mills, and I feel privileged to join such a welcoming and vibrant school community. With a strong background in education and leadership, I am committed to fostering a positive and supportive learning environment where every student can thrive. My leadership values are centred on whanaungatanga relationships, manaakitanga respect, and kotahitanga collaboration—building strong relationships, showing care and respect, and working together for positive outcomes for all. I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to the staff and community members who have already welcomed me with such warmth and manaaki.
I believe in open communication and collaboration and look forward to working alongside our tamariki, whānau, and staff to continue the great work already happening here at Welbourn School. My door is always open, and I encourage you to reach out, share your ideas, and take an active part in our school’s journey. Together, we can build on the strong foundations already in place and embrace the exciting opportunities that lie ahead for our kura. I am excited about the future and look forward to meeting you all.
Ngā mihi,
Bonnie Mills
