Out of zone applications for Term 2 2025
This notice applies to Welbourn School, which has the authority to operate an enrolment scheme to prevent overcrowding.
The board invites applications from parents who wish to enroll their sons and daughters at Welbourn School who will start in Term 2 of 2025. Details of the enrolment schemes are available from the school office.
Applications can be collected from the school, email office@welbourn.school.nz for an application form or complete this online application form by clicking the link below.
The deadline for receipt of applications for out-of-zone places is 3.30 pm Monday 3 March 2025.
The board has determined that: Up to 15 vacancies in Year 0 are likely to be available for out-of-zone students starting in Term 2 of 2025.
The exact number of vacancies available will depend on the number of applications received from students who live within the school’s home zone.
If the number of out-of-zone applications exceeds the number of places available, students will be selected by ballot. If a ballot is required it will be held on Friday 5 March with parents being informed of the outcome by Tuesday 11th March.

EOTC Year 5 and 6 - FINAL NOTICE

The deadline for the Google permission forms for our EOTC Activity week was yesterday,
Wednesday 26 February. These forms are necessary for the organisation of these events.
Thank you to all of those who have already completed one of the forms, please can you ensure you have completed both . There are two - a Health profile and a Permission form).
Also, if you are a parent help, two forms were also emailed to you separately (a transport form and a volunteer form). Please ensure you have also completed both of these forms ASAP.

Home and School
AGM - The Home & School Association will have their AGM on Monday the 17th of March, in the staffroom at Welbourn School. We welcome you. Please join us. Raffles - The Home & School Association are keen to do some smaller raffles throughout the year. If you have a business that would like to donate something as a raffle item, then we would love to hear from you. Just email us at homeandschool@welbourn.school.nz
Road Patrol help needed
Thank you to the parents who have offered to cover road patrol on a Thursday and Friday morning.
We are still looking for a half hour of you time on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday between 8.25am and 8.55am.

Gardening Helpers
We are after some gardening enthusiasts with some knowledge to share to help manage the compost, garden, plants and in our school gardens for our Garden to Table projects.
