Mana Whānau
Ākonga need to believe they occupy a valued position in their whānau, including their school whānau. This helps them develop a sense of self and feel connected to others. Term 1 learning in each class has been focussing on enhancing mana, getting learners to explore their identity and share information about the skills, qualities and talents they bring with them through the gates of our kura. The kete they have created to share this can be seen in each class.

Wrap up and come along to connect with teachers and other families tonight between 5.30-7.30pm. Bring a picnic blanket and your favourite picnic food.
Home and School are selling sausages and juicies, so bring your small change.

EOTC writing - The Amazing Race

Winter sports -
Registrations are now closed for Winter sports, however we are still looking for more players to join the following sports. If you wish to play any of these sports or want information please click on the links below. It will be first in gets the spot so please register before next Tuesday the 25th of March
Hockey (Yr NE-6) We are needing 4 more players to join our Yr 5-6 team. Season runs from Saturday 3rd May - 13th September .
Miniball (Yr NE-4) - We are needing 3 more players to join our Yr 1-2 team. Season starts 19th May and runs through to September.
Netball (yr 3-6) We are needing 2x Yr 3-4 players and 1x Yr 5-6 player. Season starts First week of Term 2. Yr 3-4 play Thursday afternoons, Yr 5-6 play Tuesday afternoons.
