Talent Quest Finals
Another exciting event this week was our Talent Quest finals. After two weeks of auditioning, our three School Council judges (Millie, Lila and Libby) selected five acts from the Te Hēnui and seven from the Huatoki to perform in front of the school. We had two judges (Elg and Cara) who had to make the difficult decision of our places. Congratulations to everyone who auditioned and to all those who qualified for the finals. What a great show it was!

- 1st - Zoe Summerell (dance)
- 2nd - Aufa Alhabsyi (piano)
- 3rd - Olive Herdson, Arlo Stephens & Quinn Weck (dance)
Huatoki Results:

- 2nd - Abigail Riddle (dance)
- 3rd = William Dannefaerd (singing) & Sienna Smith-Rees (dance/gymnastics)
Room 12 Season Writing
Room 12 were given the task of persuading their reader " Which season is the best?". Here are two examples for you to enjoy;
Term 1 2025 Out of Zone Applications
Welbourn is advertising places for out-of-zone students who will be starting in Term 1 2025. If you live out of our school zone but have a child who will be joining a current OoZ sibling, you still need to apply for an 'out of zone' place. This can be done by clicking this link: Term 1 OoZ Application Form. Alternatively, you can pick
up an application from the school office.
Applications close on Friday 27th of September at 3.30 pm. All of this information is also on our school website.
On the website alongside this, is an expression of interest link, for both in-zone and out-of-zone children, who
feel that Welbourn would be a good option as their future place of learning.
