2024 Board Vacancy
A vacancy has opened on the Welbourn School Board of Trustees elected parent representative due to the resignation of an elected Board member. Being a member of the Welbourn Board is a rewarding task and a great opportunity to give back to an excellent primary school.
If there are any parents or caregivers within our Welbourn School Community who are interested in joining the Board, please contact Alistair Simmers, Presiding Member (Chair) of the Welbourn School Board by email at alistairs@welbourn.school.nz
The Board wishes to fill this vacancy by selection rather than going through an election process. If 10% or more of eligible voters on the school roll ask the board, within 28 days of this notice being published, to hold a by-election to fill the vacancy, then a by-election will be held. Request for a by-election should be sent to: Alistair Simmers, Presiding Member (Chair) of the Welbourn School Board alistairs@welbourn.school.nz by: March 21st, 2024.
Ngā mihi
Alistair Simmers
Welbourn School Presiding Member
