Enrolling Your Child

Starting school as a five-year-old or moving to a new school, is a big event in your child’s life.  We want to make the transition to Welbourn as smooth as possible.  Contacting the school office at least 6 months prior to your child starting school, gives you plenty of time to complete enrolment forms, attend our ‘Tiny Tui’ programme (for our 5 year olds) and also helps us with our forward planning. Enrolment forms can be collected from the school office or you can contact the office to be placed on our pre-enrolment list. office@welbourn.school.nz or phone 06 7575810.

All students who live within the home zone are entitled to enrol at Welbourn School.

Out of Zone Placements for Term 2, 2024

Applications for Out of Zone (OoZ) placements for T2 have now closed. We will be advertising again in early June for children wanting to start at Welbourn in T3, 2024. 

If you are wishing to enquire about enrolling in term 3 or 4 this year, please complete the 'Expression of Interest' form below. 

We also welcome school visits – To arrange a visit of our school, please contact the school office to book a suitable time.
